The reader may be familiar with an Calculator, a HP12C… it has different models, the platinum, the gold, and each has a different mechanism, if you do financial calculations you may prefer the platinum model, just because in calculating big figures, it will return the exact number. In the financial world, being exact can make a big difference in your career, if so. It can make the difference in your life and time.
Calculators, turned easy to do complex calculus, why? Because it hold the exact models, that return the exact figures every time… isn’t it the same as AI? We have our questions…
AI is different, although it has many models, and you can choose the ones you prefer, like the platinum, or gold HP12C model, it does not return the same figures…

How far you can go in life inventing stories? successes and ideas that are not yours? How far can you go inventing non-practical things?
How far can you go in life bragging about the math you’ve made, when it seems that you were just the operator… it's essential to be the operator in life… however you have to know, to understand when and why a calculus is right or wrong, you have to be able to check.
We question if this golden era of society has brings conclusions to people that aren’t able to check.

We know that people in the public space tend to have hallucinations, the same hallucinations AI does… these public hallucinations create contagion among groups of people that think a like… when they are together, while they think differently while they are in solitude.
Now that we have AI doing work, people are so impressed about its circus moves, the generative calculations, the fake insights, that they can’t really see what lies behind the blablabla. Yellow flag, dear reader…
…they fail to comprehend the underlying principles and mechanisms… while they have more ideas to share, more insights… more work to do… it doesn't matter if its right or wrong… it’s something…
In the last 3 months some executives, partners and advisors told us they have to take an immense amount of time just to check and correct AI work… is it good, is it bad? we don’t know…
Time is money. Time is life.
Time is money… time is live… so freeing your time, the reader may be freeing more life, to think independently, make new decisions, expand, create… to sharpen your craft. Improve the things you like to do mostly.
Companies will need to calculate the ROI… some are realizing they are paying a bonus to AI inventions… that consume more time.
As we told our dear readers in our weekly missives that intelligent people may be the next fools… we are not sure how long it will take for serious professionals in the business and financial world to understand that you trust is something you can check.
It seems that you can’t check, audit or stand behind a number that has being generated... the same way you can’t tell your teacher you just now the result of the equation. It has to be calculated, by hand if needed.
